Role
Elected to serve a two-year term as President. Serves as chief elected officer of the Association, supervising and controlling its affairs.
Expected Service Contributions (as outlined in the Bylaws)
- Preside over and prepare agendas for all Governing Board and Business Meetings
- Provide leadership, vision, and direction for NAGAP
- Serve as ex-officio member of all committees
- Appoint individuals to fill vacated Board positions
- Assume responsibilities as directed by the Board

- Strong facilitation, communication, and delegation skills
- Commitment to three years’ service (President + Past-President)
- Strategic focus and board experience (highly encouraged)

- Attend all Board and Business Meetings
- Preside in the President’s absence
- Assist the President as requested
- Assume the Presidency if necessary

Role
Elected to serve a two-year term as Secretary. Keeps, preserves, and disseminates accurate records on behalf of the Association.
Expected Service Contributions (as outlined in the Bylaws)
- Attend all Board and Business Meetings
- Record and distribute meeting minutes
- Maintain retention of all NAGAP records
- Ensure notices of meetings are sent to the membership
Additional Considerations
- Proficiency in digital communication and record-keeping
- Knowledge of parliamentary procedure is helpful

Role
Elected to serve a two-year term as Treasurer. Serves as custodian of the Association’s funds.
Expected Service Contributions (as outlined in the Bylaws)
- Attend all Board and Business Meetings
- Oversee financial matters of NAGAP
- Present annual financial report to the membership
- Hold signatory authority for tax and financial purposes
Additional Considerations
- Comfort presenting financial statements to Board and members
- Experience in finance or prior not-for-profit board service
