Graduate enrollment offices often struggle to deliver accurate, timely, and actionable reports. Smaller teams, in particular, may find it challenging to manage funnel data efficiently for stakeholders. Today, the barrier to entry for robust data analysis and visualization is lower than ever, thanks to open-source tools and AI-assisted workflows. In this session, participants will learn how to leverage R, Python, and Quarto to build reproducible reporting pipelines that scale across programs and teams. Drawing from real-world examples, I’ll show how I automated enrollment reports, cleaned and visualized data with libraries such as ggplot2 and leaflet, and scripted repetitive analysis tasks. Attendees will leave with a practical framework for diagnosing reporting challenges, designing reproducible workflows, and applying visualization techniques. This can empower teams to make faster, data-driven decisions while reducing manual effort. A curated reading list and ready-to-use templates will provide actionable next steps for professionals at any stage of their data journey.
