NAGAP honors the memory of Glenn S. Berman
NAGAP honors the memory of Glenn S. Berman, a respected leader, mentor, and friend whose contributions to our profession will be long remembered.
Throughout his distinguished career — including senior graduate enrollment management roles at the New York Institute of Technology, Rutgers University, Dowling College, and Fordham University — Glenn was known for his warmth, humor, and generosity of spirit.
He served in many roles on NAGAP’s Board during its early years, including as the Association’s fourth President from '94-96. Glenn was a trusted voice and a steady hand, bringing clarity to complexity and compassion to every conversation. His mentorship helped shape the careers of many, and his friendship enriched the lives of all who knew him.
He reminded us that at the heart of graduate enrollment management lies a shared purpose — to serve, to guide, and to believe in the transformative power of education.
The NAGAP community extends its deepest condolences to Glenn’s family, friends, and colleagues. We will honor his memory by carrying forward his spirit of integrity, kindness, and connection.
